F*"* by the time I got to the top of Donner pass, I was red lighting. It shut down. I've been a driver 27 years owner OPERATOR for five. First truck I blew just goes to show I ain't perfect with that rookie move. Thsnk everyone looks to me shop time. Hell 998567 miles it didn't leak or burn a drop of oil. No water in oil that I can tell. But still time to rebuild..... Thanx for the input.

Oh man that SUCKS! I left my fuel cap off a few months back after filling her up, man was I pissed at myself. My mind is getting shot, so my short term memory is not the best, so I now double check everything I do at the fuel Island. In fact, I leave my hood up at the fuel island until I get my coffee and receipt. That way I get back to the truck and assure I put everything back where it needs to be and then close the hood and latch her down. If I don't, I am second guessing myself going down the road. And of course, if the truck stop is busy, I do not do this. I normally do my checks when no one is around so I do not hold anyone up. I normally work nights, so this is not normally an issue for me.

I'm in the shop right now having an in frame too... Blown head gasket at 900,000... Good luck with your baby.
