Maintenance free filter - Oldad6150 - 06-21-2018 I put a maintenance free crankcase filter in 09 and now got check engine light is that a no no RE: Maintenance free filter - Waterloo - 06-21-2018 Check the sensor on the filter box, it is at the 11 o’clock position. It may be time for a new one. I have had mine go bad and throw a code. Replaced, no more issues on my 08. RE: Maintenance free filter - Oldad6150 - 06-21-2018 New sensor as well when put in filter. Put paper filter back in and no more check engine RE: Maintenance free filter - Brock - 06-21-2018 That's not right...... Not at all. The sensor detects being plugged, not high flow... Check the wiring around the sensor, it may be the fact that you disturbed a bad wire rather than the filter change.... RE: Maintenance free filter - Oldad6150 - 06-21-2018 Ok will do RE: Maintenance free filter - Rawze - 06-22-2018 truck would have to have some kind of serious blo-by issues for it to throw alarms with the maint.free filter. |
