One more question - Oldad6150 - 07-11-2018

Had the blowby checked at peterbilt as well with a manometer they said was normal. Have done egr tune up. The oil filter still plugging up about 8000 miles and changing it and my am soil bypass. What could be malfunction. Thanks

Have you had your oil tested to see whats in it or how bad it is? There can be all sorts of issues causing the oil filter to plug up quickly. Oil sampling will give more insight into whats causing it.

I just sent my first oil sample to CAT can back ok but need to start being more consistent

excess soot problems will make an oil filter clog up like that. It is typical of ISX engines.

Excess soot problems can be anything from bad sensors to a sticky EGR valve, turbo out of calibration of failing, incorrect program in engine, to a bad CAC unit.
