386 Peterbilt - Wilsoff6 - 08-29-2018

Hello all,

I have got myself into let's say a pickle. 2011 386 peterbilt is the new addition to the fleet. 900k on the clock with 6 new pistons and liners. Got underneath to get rid of the muffler on the driver side so I could mount a PTO and driveshaft for my water pump.

That's not a muffler it's a scr....... Brought it to cummins to see if it could be moved so it all goes down one side of the frame and they told me it is not possible.

So now I'm here looking for advice. Got a quote for 6k to clean up the underside.

This is a fire support vehicle.

I have a torch and can do it for 3? Have you looked inside the tube? it only has a screen on one side ... not that its not important but I think if you were to look there are many variations of mounting you just need to find one that moves it out of the way.

The problem is that sensor on the back of the scr and elbow that goes up and over the driveshaft has fuel and a harness going to it. I wish it would all just go away but I dont trust any tuner now after spending 3 weeks reading here.

At Mr. Haggai's place in GA can eliminate it with good program. So can Unilevers.

Go with a hydrapak, and you won't have to move any of the component's you mentioned.
