i found this website https://truckmechanicbasics.com/engine/ by accident and figured it would be good enough to share it.
To the mechanics who have worked on volvo engines, how accurate is this? Are these really the only big common issues?

This one is for gen 1 Volvo’s. Pretty much all the schematics. Has saved my bacon quite a few times

If you are in need of a service manual they are on this website. I actually was able to buy one leftover from a old dealership few years ago but that is a rarity.
I also ended up getting the parts list with part numbers for my Volvo d12 also.
