Sorry to hear about your "buddy". That's something I would do to a Pal. Never to a Buddy. Next time try yelling:
Whoa trike, Whoa
Keep testing! Your findings, so far, show that the Tree Brake is less than optimal. Video would be helpfull. Your gonna need more test pilots. I would volunteer, but can't due to my fear of Fireworks.

Looking forward to seeing pics of your electric bike and how you mount it

I put the battery in an old Dewalt carrying case. The front wheel is electric on my wifes bike. You can get the kit on Ebay for around $250. The recumbent bike is mine.....and its a hoot to ride! Good exercise.

The most common braking system on an ebike......parachute or solid object.

The first pic is of the pack I made for my wifes bike. Its two 24v in series making 48v. The other is a 24v I built for my Razor Quad for my grandkids to ride. That battery will last all day....two as a matter of fact.

Here's a picture of my 2 stoke powered Bike after the last test ride by my Pal "Woody". The parachute did not work. He was able to peck his way out though.
The parachute failure was due to not having installed the ejection seat (a simple oversight on my part).

Or it could be a picture of a bike that was leaned up against a tree by a boy who joined up in WW2 and died......and the people just left the bike there and it became a part of the tree.....lol. By the way the story is true.

Now you've done it! Your gonna regret this. It wasn't Me (check avatar). It was that Duck (what a Pal).
This won't be the first time we have had to settle a dispute caused by that Duck.
The dispute: "Or it could be a picture of a bike that was leaned up against a tree by a boy who joined up in WW2 and died......and the people just left the bike there and it became a part of the tree.....lol. By the way the story is true."
Really? I have attached the truth below (read it and weep).

I won't lower my standards to defend that Duck. You seem to have lowered your standards to attack him though! Looks like a NO WIN SITUATION for you, Pal. I wouldn't embarrass a Buddy like this. "The truth, you can't handle the truth!" (shut up Jack) As my mind is begining to wander, I propose you two settle this dispute by agreeing that you both used a little LITERARY LICENCE to make your respective points. You know, like in the New York Times (communist rag).
