Kw T660 axle temp gauge - Poppa chop - 06-01-2019
Have an 09 t660. Looking to add axle temp sensors. Was told the truck is wired
and all I will need to do is daisy chain on the dash with the other gauges.
I do know I’ll have to add sensor to differential. Where would the wiring be located that I’ll need to start this process. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

if its already wired they will be connectors on the frame rails with probably some type of cover on them

I don't know for sure but you may also need to have the circuit "turned on" or activated in a control module of some sort.

if it goes through the BCM i suppose he does im not sure if that year kenworth is setup with the body controller doing everything like internationals or not he might have straight wiring in his truck instead of BCM control input/output.

The 09 should be set up the same way as peterbilt are, will need to have someone to add them in on the cab controller unit and make sure the wire harness has the plugs in it for the axle temp sensor, I only know because on my 06 peterbilt I would have to have someone add them in the cab controller unit
