advice on replacement - laynepaving - 07-01-2019 the short version; currently running mx13 epa10 @ 380 hp w/10spd.single drive axle 9yd box(dump) 35k#gvwr.2012 pete 384.the mx 13 part of this equation has been a real money pit.last 3 years have been 3k,1500,and 3k =7500.00 in repair bills.i'm tired of having to pay to work.would like a truck similar to what i have but don't know if there is a more reliable version of the mx13,what year?is anyone familiar with the pc-7 or pc-9.and.......what is the reliability of the detroit motors.imo the mx13 is a super motor but the aftertreatment issues along with the lack of knowledgable mechanics @ 125.00 hr and paccar wants about 6,000 for all the crap you have to buy into to work on it.anyway, any thoughts.........thanks in advance.
