Is it possible to pressure wash the filter to clean it out then blow it out with compressed air?

They say washing them out with water washes out the precious metals that are inside the filter.

NOT a good idea at all. Take DPF and DOC off and have them baked, de-ashed, and flow tested at the stealers$it for a few hundred bucks. Be sure to take pictures of their faces before having them cleaned and post them here for some opinions as to why they may have clogged in the first place.

They aren't clogged...thank God, I was just curious if the whole baked cleaning thing was bs...lol. I try to stay ahead of any and all problems...it was either cleaned or replaced at one point along with the egr cooler and turbo(I smell dealership).
