Another noise - Daytripper - 08-08-2019
Got this strange noise...sounds like "pre-ignition " in a gas engine when timing is too advanced...seems to be coming from drivers upper side of engine...but only under heavy load...when my foot is in the throttle. Engine is 2009 cm871. Does this have that timebomb fuel pump? Can I determine by the engine serial #?

It does not have the fuel pump your referring to.Those are on 2250/2350 engines.
