Any of you by some chance ever converted the grill insert condenser to a regular condenser on a late 80s w900. Friends truck kw wants 700$ for the factory condenser LKQ wants 130$ for the new style condenser for that truck.[/i]

I would call this guy if you cannot get an answer, all he does is AC on the old trucks, and is darn good at it. He may be open for a few hours today, Saturday. If not, he will be in Monday morning at 0800 EST. Ask for JD. I have seen him do some serious carving on these rust buckets up here in Michigan to get these old AC systems operating properly. He does some very good work and is always booked out a week or two. Been there for years.
