If you are pulling light freight, under say 25,000 in flat terrain, the 3:42 are not that bad. But, pulling any weight, and in hilly or mountainous regions, that truck will fall flat on its face. I have 3:42 gears, run Detroit to Chicago with little to any weight with an 18 speed, and trust me, there are times I use darn near all of those gears. One of these days a set of 3:55 or 3:75 gears are going in, right now, cannot justify it.

I tried to edit post but it keeps posting new threads.

I have a 670 fico credit score. Apparently the underwriter can't do a loan unless the semi truck is 2015 or newer with less than 500,000 miles. The third party finance guy then automatically directs me to a truck that is 50,000. $20,000 more than I'd like to pay, and before all this he wants to know how much I would be willing to put down. I told him no more than 30%. That would be right around $10,000. I haven't even gotten the terms yet, he is saying you are approved, but he won't even give me the terms over the phone. The guy is directly me to some dealership in Miami, East Harbor. He is trying to get me to wheel and deal with these guys. I just need a fooking loan not someone to sell me a truck. What would you recommend that I do?!? Any lenders ya'll might know or recommend?

Thanks

Have you checked with Lone Mountain Truck leasing?

I haven't had any dealings with them. There is several YouTube videos about them.

No, I was able to find another truck on truck paper. I'm just looking for a loan company. Not a truck seller , bank, warranty provider.
I watched one of Rawze videos online where the guy (with the green international, bought a warranty). The warranty didn't even honor the engine wear and tear.. warranties are BS. I'd just like to inspect run tests ton make sure you have something reliable. I don't want a 6,000 dollar piece of paper that says "IF"or "IDK, maybe?"

I don't know about the terms. Check their website, I would figure it has a credit application.
