New actuators/cutout test - Mrkentee - 02-03-2020

Installed four new/reman actuators on my 871.
It doesn’t seem to pull as well. Did a cylinder cutout test, isolating one cylinder at a time.
Cyl’s 4,5,& 6 drop down from 700 rpm to 600 rpm and come back up to about 700.
Cyl’s 1,2,& 3 drop down to 500 and seem like it wants to stall. It seems like one of the actuators for the front bank is not working right. Would it be timing or metering that would do this??

I received a bad fueling actuator from Cummins wasnt putting out enough fuel. But a faulty timing actuator could do that to. Could also be elec connections

Which are the ones for front bank? Do you know offhand?

Never mind. Found the culprit.
I could never have done this without what I’ve learned here!!

Same as you. Fueling/metering actuator. Put an old one on and it passed the test.

I replaced mine under "warranty" in October still waiting on my yes or no refund

At first the guy was like, bring it in and we’ll swap it out. Now they’re saying I have to buy another one, and let them check this one out. Buggers.
