Raw fuel smell - Brock - 06-20-2020
On my cm871 I notice a Raw fuel smell. When I fire it up in a shop, your eyes will burn just like my old 60 series did.
What do you guys think could be possible causes? I just changed a leaking timing acuator, I'm guessing I have a bad timing one or two.... Any other thoughts?
Unfortunately I have this annoying thing called a wife who won't let me throw parts at my truck so I have to properly diagnose everything lol

actuators, leaky injector, slipped cams all could cause it.
my dads 870 would push out blue smoke and the raw smell and eye burning was terrible turned out to be slipped cams due to an idler gear bearing going out. not to say that is your problem but something ive seen on the 870-871 models.
