Resetting ac actuator on a 2010 lonestar - Zoomsplat - 08-07-2020

Apologies in advance because this topic is probably on here somewhere but I can't find it even
with the search option.
I'm replacing the ac actuator on my 2010 lonestar. Do I need to have it calibrated by computer after install? Thanks

I presume you mean one of the door actuators...if so unplugging the ac control head and plugging it back in will reset the ac system and cycle all the actuators to relearn their positions. You might be able to accomplish the same thing by pulling the body controller fuse but I'm not sure on that.

2010 is breakpoint for the AC system. If built in 2010 or later you might need this procedure.

1. Turn the ignition to the on position
2. Turn the fan speed to any speed (1-7)
3. Set HVAC selector to Defrost Mode
4. Remove the fuse box cover and remove the 5 Amp fuse from Battery to HVAC Control Head (ProStar position is F1-B)
5. Wait approximately 30 seconds then reinstall the fuse
6. You should hear the doors recalibrate by moving from one extreme position to the other
◦ Do not operate the control head during the recalibration
7. Start vehicle and check for correct operation of all modes and temperature
