Centrifuge oil bypass filtration - Bartnik_24 - 12-13-2020 Hello I have an older n14 with a centrifuge bypass oil filtration system on it and it works really great. I have a 13 isx with an amsoil bypass filter on it and I recently bought a 15 isx2350 and was debating to put a centrifuge spinner II or an amsoil filter bypass system. I liked the spinner II because it seemed to do a great job and you could see what it actually gets out of your oil. But I was reading the isx’s might not have enough oil pressure for it to work correctly, is this true? What if the oil pump was shimmer for higher oil psi? How hard is it to shim the oil pump? The ISX's don't have quite enough oil pressure to push those spinner filtration systems very well. cummins makes their own version of it for the ISX, but good luck finding anyone with it. It is called the "Cummins centriguard" system. I know there are a couple guys on here that have actually tried them. Maybe they will chime in on it. It has been discussed on here in the past a few times.
