Electrical whine in CB radio - Mrkentee - 04-01-2021

Never had a problem or complaint with my CB. A couple of months ago I started getting a whine in the speaker when the engine is running. I’m using the supplied power and ground in the truck (2010 Peterbilt) What would you suspect? Alternator?
Thanks

Alternator is first thing I think of.

I'd check the alternator for ripple. I know they make filters you can put into the cb power wire for that issue but if you have noise there then all your electronic computers will have noise and that's not good for them.
