Cm2250 overhead question - jimeneztrans84 - 04-19-2021

When doing my overhead on cm2250 and I do letter C it does both 3 and 4. The intake and exhaust are both loose. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I would go by firing order A1 B5 C3 then A6 B2 C4 (Letter/Cylinder#)

Then I turn the motor over a full turn to C again and number 4 is tight both exhaust and intake and 3 Only exhaust is loose...

I tried that and C on 4 both tight and 3 only 1 loose

I tried the firing order A1 and then it jumps to B 2

I tried C again and only exhaust on 3 is loose and 4 both are tight

I think I'm doing this wrong. When it's A6 is it the last cylinder? 123456 just like I was changing a injector?

yes
A is cylinder 1
B is 5
C is 3
then when you bar the engine again
A is 6
B is 2
C is 4

if both 3 and 4 exhaust rockers are loose at C someone screwed up the adjustment or (possible mechanical issue) because lets say you start at A which is 1 and 6 only one of those cylinders the rockers should be loose and on the opposite cylinder all the rockers should be tight.. The loose rockers are the ones you are adjusting.. So if you did 6 first then you go 2 and 4 and then 153..

I figured it out I was doing it wrong... damn the motor sounds nice when you do an overhead. What a difference in sound.
