Pyro help - Purplehaze - 04-21-2021 For a Pyro that is directly after turbo on an isx15 what is the do not go over temp? RE: Pyro help - Lonestar10 - 04-21-2021 After turbo max probably 850-950 at those temps your probably 1200-1300 pre turbo RE: Pyro help - Rawze - 04-21-2021 If the probe is installed into the pipe and reading directly in the exhaust stream.... 1050F or so should be the highest you should ever see after a de-mandate. Most people however like to drive their truck so that it keeps it in the 950 or so range max (by limiting throttle/boost with their right foot) to help the longevity of the turbo and to save fuel. If the truck has all the emissions still on it then the exhaust temps are heavily regulated and its normal to see much lower temps. RE: Pyro help - Purplehaze - 04-22-2021 Ok thanks. Mine runes 300 to 600 on flatter land and I have always tried to keep under 1000 on the mountains because I was told that I should keep it below that so was just double checking |
