i hope not, I went to peterbuilt to one up. I order it on Monday and they said it would be here at lunch time on weds. They order the wrong part, they order the pulley. It is supposed to be here at 1800.
Im still looking for instruction on how to RR this.

I have had feedback from a few people saying they are relatively the same results and do not last any longer than OEM in the end. Perhaps that was part of their solution to the horrible tuning they used to do to ISX engines that caused the pistons to hammer out the crank bearings. -- It is a good thing they no longer do that kind of tuning I suppose. They have much better methods now and work with us on occasion towards learning good practices, though I think they are a bit expensive for what they do.

An idea for the letters. It's coca cola red on white.

You were able to clear the fan??

Dis you have to bar the motor to get any letter line up?

There is a notch on the damper that will insert into a dowel on the crankshaft, this willmake sure the damper can only be installed in the correct position.

Thanks, I see there is a extra hole. This is for that pun.

The hardest part is getting the old one off. I sprayed wd40 all around it and started working it with a couple of big pry bars. I was afraid to crack the pulley. I read that they could be real tough to budge. I worked it some more and the front ring popped off and the pulley came loose. Just had to work it off the shaft, over the corrosion on the end. Same with the damper itself. I cleaned up the end of the crankshaft with sandpaper. I used a little die grinder in the holes of the pulley and ring to clean them up, very lightly. Everything slid right on nice. As stated above, you line up the pin. It only goes one way. Put some oil on the bolts, and torque to 130 lb ft in a star pattern.
