Could anyone help with a cm2250? - AMR95 - 01-27-2022

I have a cm2250 bbz cpl 3719 that someone had (d e mandated a few years ago)
Anyway it went into the shop for some repairs (Rod & mains) (front cover leaking at block)
So when it was done when you drive the truck now it will go into active turbo speed derate (it was not doing this before repairs) does any of you smart gentlemen have any input on where to start I am sure the t u n e is whack my only issue is it was not doing this before?

You need to pull a copy of the tune

yup. start by copying the program out of the ecm and e-mail it to me. I will review it and tell you exactly what someone did and if it is harmful to the engine or not.

Wow, that delete file is horrible. I hope you did not pay any moneys for that garbage. There is no engine mode control re-mapping at all. It looks like the typical "unplug s$it", block codes from shutting it down, and some kind of false hope that the ecm has some kind of magic fairy dust inside it to make the engine run right again, kinda bad.

This engine will eat its own guts with garbage programming like this, if it does not destroy the turbo along the way first.

by the way, the file that was sent to me was for a CM871 ... not a CM2250.

it also looks like you sent me a CM2250 file to review. It is even worse.

Not only did some complete moron make a bad delete program but then they also used a high tier CPL file in a small CPL engine. Everything about it is wrong including the turbo, injectors, CAC, intake and exhaust piping , ... everything. - Some real nice, engine killing garbage you have on your hands there.

I sent you a cm871 file?
I’m pretty sure it was a bbz cm2250?
Thanks!
