CM2350 X101 X15 - Random Shutoff - Hermjeji - 08-04-2022 Over the last few weeks, this has happened twice now. In the morning, when truck starts up, it is fine. Once it has warmed up, it will move forward fine and about 1 or 2 minutes later, it sounds like it has lost fuel and rpms go down then back up, then back down to 0 and back up , and the truck shuts off. Once we start it again, all good. No codes. There is one code that comes on and off (SPN 3217 FMI20 - FC 4747 Amber Aftertreatment 1 Intake Oxygen Sensor - Data Not Rational - Drifted High) Could it be the computer? Or the ignition? Could it have anything to do with the Bladwin Fuel Filter? (issue didn't come up since it was changed about 200 hours ago). I always use OEM, but they were out of stock here for the last two weeks. RE: CM2350 X101 X15 - Random Shutoff - Rawze - 08-04-2022 does it cut out when you bang the top of the ecm.. almost hard enough to dent its casing? sucking air into the fuel system somewhere?... it have a davco on it?.. is the fuel level up on the filter properly?. could even be a bad ground to the engine block.. or other related issue. I like where your going… a lot of us overlook the davco and the neglected o-rings that “every mechanic changes” RE: CM2350 X101 X15 - Random Shutoff - Agentspd - 08-06-2022 A fuel pressure gauge would help prove system integrity.
