Borescope light - Andre_The_Giant - 08-23-2022 I am changing another injector tomorrow, i would love to make a light (like rawze use in video) for when I borescope the cylinder. Last time the light on my snap on tool wasn't good at all. Anyone have any suggestions or how to steps? Thanks in advanced RE: Borescope light - tree98 - 08-23-2022 I have one of these with a built in light, it works excellent. https://amzn.to/3CsRRhi RE: Borescope light - Andre_The_Giant - 08-23-2022 the built in light in mine sucks =( im trying to take a flashlight apart now RE: Borescope light - Rawze - 08-23-2022 (08-23-2022 )Andre_The_Giant Wrote: the built in light in mine sucks =( im trying to take a flashlight apart now yeah.. my only complaint for my very expensive BK8000 Snap-on boroscope.. is the damn camera light is not bright enough for squat nothing. That is why I made that flashlight thingy. RE: Borescope light - Andre_The_Giant - 08-24-2022 here are some pictures i took today, let me know what yall think. no additional lighting was ever made =( idk if this is oil, carbon or cracking RE: Borescope light - tree98 - 08-24-2022 Carbon buildup RE: Borescope light - Rawze - 08-24-2022 (08-24-2022 )Andre_The_Giant Wrote: here are some pictures i took today, let me know what yall think. no additional lighting was ever made =( idk if this is oil, carbon or cracking That is known as fuel impingement. excess injection timing among other things can cause that. |
