Low Mileage krnworth T680 Cummins isx 15 - GuruT680 - 11-03-2022
My truck is giving me low mileage from the last couple of weeks. used to get around 7 mpg on empty. but now geetimg around 6 mpg hardly. Even though its empty trailer but it seems like truck feel heavy while drivimg. full loaded trailer get worse aroumd 5.2 mpg used to be around 6.2 mpg. This all thing happen after service done by kenworth shop. they said my truck was showing an actuator code so they installed new one. after that i didn’t get the same mileage i used to get. any suggestions please

sounds like the shop messed up the actuator install or they failed to inspect the turbo and it is binding which took out the 1st actuator....

could also be a fuel leak or some other thing too.

Anything else new like new drive tires?

could be one more thing,i used 10w 30 for service they used 15 w40 will that affect too
its says viscosity ia more in 15w40 as compared to 10w 30

could be, but i checked nothing i can see for now. could any one tell me what is the average km for cummins in liters.
