Wrong rear end gear ratio and tire rev per mile on ecm - Nero - 01-25-2024
Ecm had 2.64 actual ratio is 2.79, and tire rev
Was at 516 correct rev is 509.
Speed was off by 4 miles.
I corrected both, the speed is accurate now.
Is my total mileage off 460k?

Dealership said total miles and ave mpg will be wrong. I said sol i can minipulate my miles and not show any lol he said let me make a call.

You go poking the bear on purpose, and next thing you know, you will get investigated for ODO tinkering. - Not something I would recommend.
Its best to get it set right, so that its accurate, and keep it there.
