Getting my rebuild done - Nhramember - 08-26-2024
Ok need some insite my mechanic rebuilding my motor says it needs a new cam and 6 intake rocker arms. He said the exhaust rockers are good. My question is replacing the 6 rockers and cam shaft. Is aftermarket good? Any recommendations on purchasing ?

OEM. Dont waste your money on aftermarket. Alot of us learned the hard way. Do it rite the first time or you will spend alot more doing it twice

If doing new cam replace all intake and exhaust dont fool around with junk after market. Most time jakes are ok. and replace rocker shafts.. Depnding on how many miles and how good the jakes felt is how i see if we replace them or not.. Also check the bore on them as the cold have alot of ware
