Cummins CM871 DPF wiring issues - doublelex - 08-28-2024 Has anyone found anything in oem dpf wiring harness causing sensor failures. RE: Cummins CM871 DPF wiring issues - tree98 - 08-28-2024 A little more information would be helpful. Exactly what kind of issues are you having? RE: Cummins CM871 DPF wiring issues - doublelex - 08-28-2024 Well I have tried to do the recommended resistance check on dpf harness, but I am not getting the resistance its calling for for temp sensor 2 of 100k ohm, was wondering if there is some sort of resistor in harness that is bad. I have load tested all the 7 wires to dpf from oem plug to dpf harness and it lit up my 55 watt bulb with no flickers as well as continuity test for all, am waiting on new sensor to come in !TIA RE: Cummins CM871 DPF wiring issues - tree98 - 08-28-2024 I'm still not sure what exactly your problem is??? Are you trying to determine if the sensor is bad? Do you have 60 ohms on the data network? RE: Cummins CM871 DPF wiring issues - doublelex - 08-28-2024 I'm getting erratic reading from sensors, insite showed this morning engine cold temp sensor 1 57 degrees, temp 2 58 degrees and temp sensor 3 -14 degrees. where are you talking 60 ohms at in the harness or where? RE: Cummins CM871 DPF wiring issues - marek4792 - 08-28-2024 On the green and yellow twisted pair. RE: Cummins CM871 DPF wiring issues - doublelex - 08-28-2024 Yes on that lead for 1939 circuit |
