2013 Cascadia DPF/DEF coolant circuit - SquareOne - 12-17-2024 Any reason that the coolant circuit going down toward the DPF couldn't be plugged if a truck is demandated? (i.e. at the lower corner of the EGR cooler elbow @ back of engine, and where it enters the piping assembly behind the water pump). I believe it's the circuit to keep the DEF doser at engine temp... Been having a seep during really cold days at the small rubber line off the EGR cooler elbow for a little while. Now that I have everything apart (fixing a couple coolant leaks and replacing the front crank seal), I though I would just plug the circuit. Aside from the aesthetics of a proper working system, any reason not to remove it? RE: 2013 Cascadia DPF/DEF coolant circuit - tree98 - 12-17-2024 I don't see any reason you couldn't plug it off. That's what I was thinking, just wanted to see if I was missing something before plugging it up. |
