ISX CM2350 - Ravenwood - 12-25-2024 I run a demandated 600 hard pulling 143,00 to 150,000 lbs of logs off the mountains. My oil temp does get up there daily , I use Chevron 15w40 so what intervals in hrs would you recommend and what weight of gear oil? Thanks in advance RE: ISX CM2350 - J_Rok - 12-25-2024 (12-25-2024 )Ravenwood Wrote: I run a demandated 600 hard pulling 143,00 to 150,000 lbs of logs off the mountains. If your truck is demandated and you are seeing excessive oil temps the first place you need to start is having your tune checked. Not saying this is your issue but if everything is working properly and you are driving properly your oil temps should never get too high. For all anyone knows, it could have too much injection timing in it, or no operating mode control re-mapping, incorrect fuel-air-mix, etc. and causing the oil to run hotter than it should.
