Code 128:F00 PID 155 A - rtjohnson1982 - 01-14-2025

07’ ISX check engine light keeps coming on/off and when the light is on the truck idles rough and the oil pressure runs higher than normal. I’ve replaced the EGR valve, EGR differential pressure sensor, manifold air temp sensor, air filter, and ran the rack and nothing seems to help. Only thing that’s changed is my bank account and I’m at a loss of where to go from here, any help would be very much appreciated!!! THANK YOU!

Hey Rawze, the code showing on the speedometer of my 07 9200i is 128 F:00 PID 155A which I believe is the manifold temperature sensor is either reading too high or not reading at all so I changed it out with a new Cummins sensor and still having the same reading.

If it is a sensor fault, replacing the senor or wiring, etc. - solving the issue, will make the code go inactive.

I.E.> There is no special procedure needed to be performed to make the CEL light go away once an engine sensor problem is resolved.

I’ve replaced the sensor and the light is still coming on/off throughout the day, thinking it could be a broken wire but I’m at a loss at this point.
