x15 emissions/ tuning help

Looking for advice with tuning an x15. I've replaced all kinds of emissions sensors trying to keep it factory and im done with it now. The couple shops that do it locally just say mild to wild and wont shed any light as to what's been best long term.

Motor was over hauled due to number 5 leaking coolant internally about 325k if my memory right. Was done under warranty at a peterbilt shop in WA I think I have the paperwork in truck... anyways. Its a 605 1850. I'm a flatbedder. I debating what tune to run as an isx. I have had hot rod trucks in the past. I just dont know how much these x15's will handle. From my understanding they like their rpm in hard pulls. Im normally about 1550 because of gearing or a little above.

I would like to make this run as well as I can with out having to swap cams or hard parts. Remove all emissions and clean it off the block.

An ISX is a $40,000+ commercial engine ... and "Aint' no hot-rod".

It is also FAR TOO EXPENSIVE to rebuild every few years ... so if you want to go faster up the hills, I would suggest you buy an expensive race car and tear it up instead. It is far cheaper to rebuild a car engine to have fun with than torturing an expensive commercial engine/truck that is supposed to turn a profit.

Your on the wrong forum if you want any of those super-trucker idiots telling you otherwise.

However, I do not blame people for doing such things, that is their decision to make on their own. ,... This, assuming they live in a country that allows for it.

That being said ...

As far as de-mandating it goes, there is a place around about every corner to shove some file in there to make codes disappear. But in return, you get an engine that lives a very short life most of the time as a result.. because most of them are clueless, yet all claiming they are the best. Your chances are better going down to the worst red-light district known, and then wondering why you ended up with an STD that cannot be cured.

I.E.> it can be done right,.. but its damn near impossible to find someone that can ... and the more 'well known' someone or some place is, this should actually be the 'least trusted' with regards to that type of stuffs.
