N14 injector issiue

so it happened to a frienf of mine, he drove few days ago and truck lost power and got heavy white smoke, it was really low on power according to him but he managed to get to repair shop (around 9 miles) , shop diagnosed faulty injector number 1 , shop replaced it and told him to make a test drive,
he did and it was the same ,low power and white smoke but he said that truck shaked more before replacement now it shaked less,
shop removed valve cover and now they say valve is stuck in the guide and spring is not locked
im curious on your view on this subject, have only two pictures after second valve cover removal

I hope this person does not haul freight for a living all year around with that dinosaur. - Those engines have seen their better days, and its da$mn near impossible to get injectors and other parts that are of OEM new, reliable quality any more.

The red engine maker does not really make parts for them any more, and anything they (or anyone else) sells for them like reman injectors, etc.. have been re-manned to death, and only last a few months or about a year, and then go bad again. - This is fine for an RV or something only used part time, but for someone trying to run freight on the daily with it,.. its a repeating headache.. just saying.

thanks for comments but im curious on your view what has happend between 1st shop repair and 2nd, they replaced injector and missed that valve is dropped or stuck?
