Air compressor question It seems like my coolant system has some pressure in it and there's coolant in the oil. I changed out the egr cooler now I wanna test the air compressor. Maybe it's causing some issues which line do I disconnect I read on here you disconnect a line but the thread didn't say which one. So I'm asking for help on which one do I disconnect to check for coolant in | |||

RE: Air compressor question Both of the hoses on the top of the compressor head need to be plugged. I would also go to napa and get their test kit to check for combustion gases in the coolant. They have it behind the counter so you have to ask for it. You'll also need the detecting fluid as well. If it goes from blue to yellow then you most likely need a head gasket or possibly a crack in your head. | |||
