Water jacket So has anyone done or can explain to me how to test the water jacket for any restrictions preventing proper coolant flow. I was told you could test it by running engine at 2000 rpm and pressure test certain areas around the engine to see if theres blockage. Specifics on how what and where to pressure test idk but if anyone is familiar id like more info if you please.

RE: Water jacket A sticky thermostat will prevent water flow I did mine in an old truck stop in Oklahoma, made a huge difference, went from 200 220 average temp to 180 which is normal

RE: Water jacket The only other thing I can think of is the coolant filter that most practically ignore, though I'd be willing to bet it has a bypass in it for that reason. I didn't check last time I changed mine. User's Signature: 2010 T2000, CM871, 13spd, 977k, tanker yanker Overhauled @ 927k
