RE: Fuel knock sound Common rail doesn't have a fuel temp sensor atleast mine doesn't. You'll be chasing ghosts and burning through your wallet trying to figure it out. If the engine changes sound and it can spotted on a cylinder cut out test and an injector swap fixes it, or a sensor going astray that's great, but the little shakes at idle? It's annoying but not outright harmful unless you're dumping heavy white/black smoke snapping the throttle or a straight up misfire. I'd swap the fuel actuator and the regulator since it's original, I had a startup idle stumbe that ended up being the actuator getting stuck. | |||
