Turns out the IMAP fault code was from before I fixed all the fuel leaks and I forgot to delete it! Sometimes I wonder about myself lol.
Could this engine brake issue be a weak solenoid?
2nd stage looks like it may be the culprit.
No fault codes today but the shaking and popping seems to be on a long enough pull that oil temperature tops out at around 235-240. Could that cause the solenoid to all of a sudden activate and fight itself?

no, but bad jake rockers, or bad solenoid could cause it to act up/leak, and partially activate.
