2008 KW T660 Parking Brake light I'm going to have some time off at the end of the week and wanted to tackle this nagging issue. When I set my parking brake valve, the light on the dash doesn't illuminate and my daytime running lights stay on. When I open the door the alarm chimes and flashes the park brake light as if to remind me to set the brake even though it's set. It doesn't do this every single time but majority of the time. I figure it's a pressure switch that controls it that's giving trouble. Does anyone know the location of these switches?

RE: 2008 KW T660 Parking Brake light I've had to change this pressure sensor before. Open the right hand gauge panel and it's on the firewall basically in the center. It was too long ago for me to still have the part number, but it's not that tough. It's round if that helps. User's Signature: Why? Why do I always ask "why?" RE: 2008 KW T660 Parking Brake light Park brake pressure switch. It's at the center of the firewall. You will need a crows foot, long extension and ratchet. 20 minutes and done

RE: 2008 KW T660 Parking Brake light Awesome. That's the info I was looking for. I'll pop the dash panel off tomorrow and change it. Atleast now I don't have to spend time looking for it lol

RE: 2008 KW T660 Parking Brake light What they said. On mine, my brakes would release but I'd get an alarm for the brakes being set randomly while driving. Loaded my drawers a couple times with that one. Problem on mine was the valve was messing up. Had a dead air dryer which caused all sorts of nastiness in my air system.
