| fuel gauge bouncing What might cause the fuel gauge bounce up and down? It does it more frequently when fuel in the tank is less then half. What is the fix? 2010 peterbilt 387 Thanks for any inputs. | |||

| RE: fuel gauge bouncing It's been a couple months so I'm sure you fixed the problem by now. But for future readers you need a new fuel level sender unit in the fuel tank, they are easy to change. The fuel level bouncing is the beginning g of it going bad eventually it will just stop reading all together. | |||
