CM570 Oil Pump regulator shimming

Working on a 2001 cm570. Has anyone come up with the optimum number of dimes for the oil pump regulator? I've read anywhere from 6 to 10 now I'm confused.

The old aluminum pump took about 6 dimes to get you to about 48 psi or so. This was optimum for most ppl.

The newer cast iron pump is shimmed slightly differently.
