Freightliner M2 106 with Cummins ISL9 2350 demandated
On a freightliner, is there a way to make the def gauge show something or be off(like paccar esa) instead of flashing red on a 2017 m2 106 with a Cummins ISL9 2350. The demandate was done by our reputable tuner on this site trained by the man himself and his tunes are always jam up. This is the only freightliner I’ve ever had to do and I do have dddl8.16 sp2 and dddl8.13 sp3 all level 10 but can’t find a feature to disable the gauge. The tune is jam up as usual would just like to have the flashing red box on the def gauge gone or showing a level. Thanks for any advice and assistance. I forgot to add it is not the 2017 epa emmision engine just 2017 model year truck. It is a 16 ton wrecker and I do have had to tow trucks that have bad demandates that I have recommended to read our great forum and find a proper tuner!

A buddy has a demandated M2 by Uni and he had to crush the L.E.D.

I did this on my Pete also. So your saying ESA allows you to set the gauge to show a certain level? Or it just shuts the L.E.D. off ?

Esa let’s you turn the gauge off completely. I’ll just take the led out of mine then.

If it is a CM2350 model ecm, then there are some settings that will allow the gauge signal to be broadcast without turning the system back on.

Damn, I guess I should have asked about that before I screwed with mine. I just assumed it was like the 871/2250. I guess that's what happens when we assume......

Actually, I have found the settings for the CM2250 for it to stay on as well. Finally had someone over here with a truck I could play with for a couple days to figure it out.
