Truck Stalling First off a special thanks to Mr Haggi,Rawze, and Vin. We have 2011 T700 with a 2250 Over the week end the truck misfired at idle, but immediately corrected itself and ran fine. We then drove around 100 miles with no issues. Wednesday after starting the truck it began idling started smoking and misfiring. After trying to restart it would stall immediately. The first thing we did was to change fuel filters, but this did not help. We then reached out to the guys above and tried several thing to narrow down this problem. One of the suggestions was the Camshaft Position Sensor may be bad. Found this part on Cummins Quick Serve and tried to remove, but was not able to get it out. Kept moving it side to side, then bolted it back in. Cranked the truck and it ran great. Unbolted the sensor and kept working with it until it came out. Part was only a little over $20 at dealer. Truck is on the way to California and running fine. Mr Haggi, Rawze, and Vin have busy schedules, but were so kind to help us out and it is greatly appreciated Thank again T700 | |||
