Sensors after delete
After getting a delete I’ve been changing the imap and exhaust pressure sensors, as that’s what I was told. Now I’m questioning if I heard correctly or not and should have been changing the deltaP sensor as well. I’m also curious about the sensor on the exit side of the turbo.
What am I supposed to be changing as far as sensors after a delete ?
Thanks

RE: Sensors after delete
delta-p sensors should no longer be active.

RE: Sensors after delete
The only sensors you should worry about changing/ servicing regularly is imap and exhaust gas pressure, assuming it was properly demandated. Although all of your pressure and temp sensors will begin to give improper values over time… but that’s just part of dealing with man made parts.

RE: Sensors after delete
Engine-specific sensors that are active after a proper de-mandate...

* crank position sensor.
* cam position sensor
* Oil pressure and temp sensors.
* Fuel pressure and temp sensors.
* Turbo inlet temp and speed sensors.
* IMAP sensor or separate intake pressure and temp sensors.
* Mass Air Flow sensor, usually only found on smaller engines).
* Exhaust pressure sensor.

-== optionally / on some model engines ...
* Barometric pressure sensor (officially called the ambient air pressure sensor).
* Ambient (outside air) air temp sensor.
