ISX CM870 RADIATOR FAN LOGIC - SETTINGS
Correct me if Im wrong
On the right side of the screen - factory settings of my own engine ECM which I used for several years and had to make extra wiring to be able to turn fan ON manually earlier every time I go up on the hills because it turnes on way too late - so close to the RED zone that most of the time machine could not lower the coolant temprerature if heavy loaded. Its extereme abuse straight from mfg imo.
On the left side of the screen is factory settings of CM870 little younger then my.
Cummins corrected it (probably on all newer trucks, or may be not, I dont know)
Great, I wish I knew it all those years((

Basically it says if engine running higher then 18.8 RPM - do not engage fan, right? really?))

Keep in mind, this is hidden deep in the calibration. Average operator not gonna find it((
In my opinion fan settings must be more accessible to operator, in Insite perhaps.

RE: ISX CM870 RADIATOR FAN LOGIC - SETTINGS
Many people who want to add a manual fan switch for the dash simply install a second fan solenoid (and safety fuse) in line with the fan-clutch air hose, and wire it to the dash. No programming needed.

aside from that ...
CT related parameter questions better served over on my mumble server...
