Thanks for your input, What is normal DPF differential pressure at Idle and at what pressure does it call for regen? I have a code 3375, 1691 (active), and 2639 (19 counts inactive). Also code 0286 inactive (99 counts inactive) Do you think code 0286 can have anything to do with this situation. I erased cleared all code about a month ago so that's a lot of counts for code 0286. I will get you a screen shot of the re-gen history and post. Thanks for you input on this matter. My hairline is rising and turning grey on this issue. Here's a screen shot of regen history. | |||

| RE: oil dilution with diesel Hello all, I have checked the re-gen history with another truck of the same year and engine. It shows re-gens every 25-28 hours as opposed to every 4-6 hours on this problem truck, that's quite a difference under the same driving conditions. I replace he DPF diff. press sensor just because, however my gut feeling is that would be way too easy (I was correct). Does anyone know what the DPF diff. pressure needs to be to call for a regen. I am guessing .18 HG or greater. I will keep on this issue until I figure it out. Frequent regens/oil dilution seems to be common on some of these Cummins 8.3 / ISL 9. Thanks | |||
