RE: Code 3545 Registering your engine on quickserv.com will give you a breakdown of the entire engine. I have had a few beers, and am talking out my arsse here --- I give the engine maker credit for that bit of help to us drivers out here,.. Now -- If only we could convince them to provide an inexpensive version of the inline adapter (as cheap as china) that comes with a permanently licensed copy of insite, so that truck owners can reset codes, regen their truck, calibrate a turbo, and do injector and pressure tests, at a set price that DOES NOT EXPIRE, so that the day you need it, and you are on the side of the road, you aren't standing there cursing it because it expired and left you out in the dark. RE: Code 3545 Waterloo it's just a nick name. I have many from childhood and it seemed a good one because it's usually not already taken. So I go by it on different forums. Old Caterpillar tractor forums, atv forums, Cummins forums. It's just what I use for some weird reason. I see others do something similar for what ever reason. I like to help we're I can. I'm more of a learner on this forum. This computer stuff is crazy.

RE: Code 3545 Starlight, are you sure it's right behind the turbo. It's the outlet sensor I'm after. I don't really know but it seems like that description it should be towards the end of the after treatment system.
