| RE: Any way to know??  the stems seals are easily seen without removing anything but the rocker cover. get a flashlight and see if they are still old style and stuck on the guides or ridden up near the valve stem retainer. 15 min to verify. | |||

The "old style" are atypical v/g seals that attach/retained to the top of the valve guide. The "new style" are a full length "captured" style that fully envelope the valve guide and are retained by the spring against the bottom of the spring seat pocket in the head. User's Signature: Why?
