| So, turbo got opened up... Got the autopsy report on this one. 685 k miles, is what appears to be the factory HE561VE from my 871. I noticed NOTHING out of the ordinary, other than loss of proper VG function. I deadheaded this thing home from Baltimore to Savannah as nice as I could and swapped on my spare ASAP. Seeing how the ring is broken and the turbine is a little chewed up makes me feel pretty lucky I used good judgement and changed it.
