DD15 on 2012 CASCADIA normal operating temp???

The fan kicks on at 220 on my DD15 CASCADIA. Some other forums says that's normal operating temp for this engine but 220 is one hash mark below red on the gauge. Scares the heck out of me. What are your DD15 temperature climbing to before fan kicks on. I don't have a manual fan switch so can't control it. Thanks.

This sounds about right to me. i have '12 dd15 and the fan kicks on somewhere around there which i agree is a little higher than when i drove mercedes engine in a columbia.

Replaced the thermostat and temp back down to 180-200. Fan hardly kicks on now.
