if you dont mind, i wanna ask what did that shop cost you to make? and whats the total so far you spent on the truck?

Memory is foggy, but I think I was right around 15-17k including the lift and flooring. The insulation cost more, and took longer than anything.

I don't know what my running total is, and I really don't want to know lol. The truck receipts are being pulled out every EOM and going in folder of their own for the day I enter everything into an official repair order to invoice myself once I'm either leased on or get my own PUC#. I don't drink, but that day I'll probably need a little vodka helper.

---- That is something i'd want to build my self, its a nice nice garage. im 28 and i cant stand working on the ground anymore. I'll deal with but it would just be nice and better over all vs working out in the COLD/RAIN/HOT days.

I'm still not completely done building mine back, shes still got somethings to work out n replace. so i know what you mean, i dont wanna look at my folder nether at the moment.

Just way too much added power & fuel economy cause by this right herr'.

Wondered why there was a 2nd worm clamp on the boot lol. I'm leaving this little nugget out of the build.

LEAVE THAT THING OUT OF THE INTAKE!. I can't tell you how many of them I have seen get turned sideways after a year or 2 on people and they loose half their fuel mileage!. there are also no gains for having it in.

Whoever buys into that propaganda has never looked into the intake before... Mine has a huge restrictive/disruptive shroud around the egr inlet area. Not to mention, the head itself has the least smooth porting ever lol. Absolutely zero gains, but I do wonder if it makes any cool sounds?

Could have, would have, maybe should have went with a Lipe, but my knees have been known to throw a fit, so a 2050 easy pedal it is.

What a great thread this is. Very enjoyable. I appreciate all the attention to detail, effort and know-how!
I wish some of these guys that are out shopping for shift lever extensions, or stopping at Cummins to see if they can get another 30 hp out of their engine could read this.
That said, I’ll go back to my tinker toys, and Playskool tool set. Lol

If you haven't got it in yet, I have a Lipe 1 and I don't think it's any harder to hold the pedal in at a light. It does grab like a mofo though, so engagement is when you need the leg muscles to finesse it smoothly...
