What opens the injectors
On an 870/871 with an IFSM you have a cam specifically for the injectors. How is it possible to adjust the timing in the ECM if the injectors are opened mechanically. What am I missing?

they are electro-mechanical. The metering and timing actuators send hydraulic Pulses to the injectors.
